Fragility is the theme and I managed to get the poem down to eight words.  As  always  I dedicate my poem  to those came before and struggled for just the dream of a better life. 

Yesterday I was teaching a poetry workshop and a young girl’s poem about being Black broke my heart.  I remember being her age and living with a similar pain.  Yesterday was cathartic.
